Connecting to an fteproxy-powered Tor Bridge

The easiest way to use fteproxy is to use the Tor Browser Bundle, and enable the fte feature.

Step 0: Get the Tor Browser Bundle

Acquire and launch the Tor Browser Bundle: https://www.torproject.org/download/download-easy.html.en. You must have version 3.6.0 or later. See installation instructions for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux, if you have questions.

Step 1: Configure the Tor Browser

Select the second option on the main screen, to "Configure" the Tor Browser Bundle.

Step 2: Proxy settings

Select "No", unless your connection requires a proxy.

Step 3: Port settings

Select "No", unless your connection is restricted via a firewall.

Step 4: ISP Censorship settings

Select "Yes."

Step 5: Select transport type

Select "fte" as your transport type.
